Estes termos seguem a lei brasileira.
Version of October 24, 2026
Muro is a place to read. These are the rules for using the app and for getting along with other readers.
These terms apply to the Muro app, made by Henrique Lima Menezes das Neves, an individual in Brazil. By creating an account or using Muro, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
Because Muro is downloaded from the App Store, Apple’s standard License Agreement (EULA) also applies. These terms add to it.
A reading app for iPhone. You import your PDFs (or EPUBs), read a little every day and keep a streak. Focus holds back distracting apps until you read the day’s page goal. You highlight, write notes and review what you read. With an account, you have a profile, follow other readers, join the monthly League and reading groups, and your books go with you to other iPhones.
You can read without an account. Notes, highlights, review, Focus, more books, sharing and rankings need one.
Only import files you have the right to use. Your files and your notes remain yours.
You give us permission to store them, copy them between your devices and show on your profile what these terms and the policy describe, only so Muro can work. We don’t sell any of it, don’t use it for ads, and don’t use it to train artificial intelligence.
The books’ files and the text of your notes and highlights never appear to other people. On your shelf, other readers see each book’s title, author and how far you are. So titles follow the rules below too. The cover shows only to you.
Muro has no chat, no comments and no public notes. What other readers see of you is:
If you hold rights in a work and believe something on Muro infringes them, write to henrique-lima-neves@hotmail.com saying which work it is and where it appears. We reply within 5 business days and remove what shouldn’t be there.
Muro has no tolerance for objectionable content or for users who abuse others. This covers names, @s, photos, portraits, groups and titles on the shelf. It is not allowed to post:
Names and @s go through a word filter. New profile photos go through an automatic check before they appear. Filters fail, which is why reports matter.
We look at every report within 24 hours.
When someone breaks these rules, we may, without notice:
If you think we got it wrong, write to us. A suspension doesn’t cancel the subscription with Apple.
Focus uses Apple’s Screen Time, with your authorization. You pick apps from Apple’s list, and Muro cannot know which they are. They stay blocked until you read the day’s page goal, and you can pause.
Blocking depends on iOS, which has limits and can fail. Don’t use Focus to block something you might need in an emergency. Muro is not a parental control.
Premium includes Focus, unlimited notes (up to 50 without Premium) and creating groups. It is a monthly or yearly subscription bought on the App Store.
The subscription is governed by Apple’s standard License Agreement.
XP comes from what you read. The League runs by the month and groups count the week. The server caps XP at what can be read in the time that has passed, and we may correct results that don’t look real.
Muro is provided as it is. We may change, add or remove features. We look after your data, but keep your own copy of files that matter to you. If Muro ever shuts down, we will say so inside the app ahead of time.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages from using the app. Nothing here takes away your consumer rights under Brazilian law.
These terms follow Brazilian law. A dispute can be brought in the courts of the city where you live.
If something changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Important changes are also announced inside the app. Using Muro after that means accepting the new version.
